Project Description
Bringing Bali to Bramley
Design cues have been employed to help the home on this waterfront property, with views out over the Tamaki Estuary, feel like a slice of Bali. The home is divided into several wings that assist in spatially separating the different functions of the home, with outer wings splaying away from the central core. A covered alfresco space is sheltered between outer wings, overlooking the swimming pool and views further afield.
Split gabled roofs adorn each of the ends of the wings, in combination with expansive glazing, slatted screens, soffit rafters, and volume ceilings featuring in the primary living space and master bedroom. To continue the aesthetic, the exterior is clad in a combination of vertical timber cladding, stone schist veneer and plastered brick. An asphalt shingle roof is used atop the low pitched roof.
